talking loud, not saying much

taking inspiration from the 'stars' i recently invested in some earrings and a cuff from Zara Taylor after seeing some of the Made in Chelsea cast model her pieces. the items are of a high standard and the boho chic element is really endearing, wearable and so summery, which is is perfect for our london heatwave. i would definitely recommend her every time, i could have EASILY bought the whole website. remember to restrain yourself rebecca!

a man lingers, a man we fear.

beady eyes, cruel fingers and beguiling breath

sweet sickly aromas of aftershave & death.

people whisper wherever he walks

talk is brutal and the crows slowly stalk.

his name is worn away, momentarily lost

his identity as temporary as the earthly frost.

but like charades we join him in his cruel games

and run along in his salubrious flames. 

cheating men, he remains always alone

clinging onto people's pasts like a dog with a bone.

crying for a diseased future, beginning to rot

swimming in oceans of violet forget-me-nots.

the Met Costume Institute Gala, 2012.

glamorous, cutting edge and terrifying, the gala is a infamous NY fashion/art event where the rich and famous rub shoulders and compete for the best red-carpet look. my stand alone favourites that oozed glamour and were still current for the decadent futuristic phase were both Kate Bosworth in Prada and Camilla Belle in Ralph Lauren encompassing fashion perfection.
